Intro to a Reluctant Irish Pioneer

 OK, here starts a journey that I'm excited about. 

I'll start with a confession ... apparently it's good for the soul! 

I am a reluctant blogger and also a very reluctant pioneer - there we go - I've said it. 

why? 

because I'm usually happy with the status quo, I'm happy with things that have been passed on to us

I'm happy with the status quo ...the inherited gathering ... usually!. 

What's been passed on has been tried and tested and found to be helpful. 

BUT ... 

and it's a big but! ... 

there are things which we need to address ... bits that seem to be creaking 

things which we know deep down need addressed but which are hushed ... 

areas where we need to have honest conversations about

so ... what might be helpful? 

what might be ways forward ? 

are there resources that could be shared? 

are there links that could be inspiringly helpful? 

This blog I hope will help highlight some areas, some questions, some suggestions, some random thoughts. 

It's not going to be academic. 

It's not going to be systematic. 

It's not going to be planned. 

but its hopefully going to be hopeful 

It's going on a journey which will be long

We'll dig deep and we'll also hit on messy topics
