Beginning With Prayer

 

My First proper blog I wanted to begin with prayer. The place of ultimate pause. Time to collect thoughts and to communicate with God. 

The space is active pausing at the start of the day. 

The space of wisdom which is neglected at our peril. 

As we begin this particular space on the World Wide Web - my hope is that this space will be a storehouse of prayer, reflection, some good ideas, some fellowship for those who in their communities are pioneering new things as we go along. 

Above all it is my hope and prayer that we will be able to share the journey of faith together. 

Collect of 4th Sunday after The Epiphany  

 O God,

who knowest us to be set

in the midst of so many and great dangers,
that by reason of the frailty of our nature
we cannot always stand upright;
Grant to us such strength and protection,
as may support us in all dangers,
and carry us through all temptations;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
